1. Acceptance

By using inbrowsertools.online you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. InBrowserTools is operated by Ananta Software.

2. The service

InBrowserTools provides free browser-based utilities for processing PDFs, images, documents and data. All processing runs locally in your browser. No account or registration is required, and the tools are provided at no cost.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to process content you have no legal right to handle, to break any applicable law, or to attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer access controls of, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure.

4. Your files and your responsibility

Because files never leave your device, you retain full ownership of and full responsibility for everything you process. You are responsible for keeping your own backups. We cannot recover a file for you — we never had a copy.

Take particular care with irreversible operations. Redaction, metadata removal and similar tools permanently alter the output file. Always verify the result before relying on it or sharing it.

5. No warranty

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output will be accurate, complete or suitable for your purpose.

6. Not professional advice or certification

The tools are designed to support privacy-sensitive workflows, but using them does not by itself make you compliant with GDPR, HIPAA or any other regime, and nothing on this site is legal, medical or security advice. Compliance depends on your organisation's own practices. Verify the output of any redaction or scrubbing tool yourself before relying on it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the site.

8. Intellectual property

The InBrowserTools name, design and code are owned by Ananta Software. The tools make use of third-party open-source libraries, which remain subject to their own licences.

9. Changes and availability

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
